Emilie teaches fun, energy-packed street dance classes and workshops for adults in Ottawa.

Inspired by the Latin, Caribbean, and hip-hop music of her youth, she started teaching at a young age. Through many years of experimenting and hard work, Emilie was determined to build a career in dance.

Her journey has taken her to train and teach in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Brazil, the United States, and across Canada.

Over the past 25 years, she has fostered the Dance with Emilie community as a place where everyone feels welcomed and inspired to dance.

Her classes and workshops cater to students of all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers.

Emilie has won several awards for her teaching, including Ottawa’s Best Dance Instructor as voted by the community in 2024 and 2025.

Known for her positive energy, professionalism, and warmth, Emilie’s passion for dance is truly contagious!
