Location and registration information

Most classes and workshops take place at the Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group (GNAG) located at
175 Third Avenue in the Glebe Community Centre . For these programs, register through GNAG’s Amilia platform using the links below. You will need to have an account on the Amilia platform to register. Make sure your profile and payment info is up to date to ensure a smooth checkout.

Workshops on Sunday, March 29 will be held at Pure Havana dance studio located at 190 MacLaren St, Unit 205 in Centretown. For these workshops, register through the Dance with Emilie platform (not Amilia).

Tropical Vibes - All Levels

Get ready for a tropical-inspired dance party as we shimmy and groove to Latin and Caribbean rhythms! This is the perfect class for those who love variety. Think salsa, reggaetón, merengue, soca, samba, Brazilian funk, Afrobeats, and more!

Hip Hop Royalty - All Levels

Expect big vibes, dope beats, and a whole lot of fun! We’ll be dancing to the hottest tracks from some of hip hop’s biggest icons. Learn dynamic moves, fresh choreography, and how to own the dance floor with confidence. This class is all about channeling your love for hip hop while having a blast! This all-levels class offers options to ensure everyone has a great time, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer. Bring along your friends who love hip hop as much as you do!

Street Dance - Intermediate/Advanced

Want to take your dance skills to the next level? This is our most advanced class for those looking to push their technique even further and learn challenging choreography in a supportive environment. Get ready for a mix of rhythms and movements from a variety of street dance styles! This class encourages dancers to build their unique personal style and push their potential to the max!

Dancers are expected to practice the routine at home every week and to catch up outside of class time with the help of a buddy if absent. Minimum of two years of dance experience. If you’re unsure whether this class would be a good fit for your skill level, contact Emilie before registering.

As this is a progressive class where we build on the same routine every week, registration is required for the full session. Drop-ins to try out the class are possible during the first three weeks.
Sass/Heels - All Levels

Compared to our other classes, movements are generally softer and all about the flow. You’ll learn two routines during the session—each with a different vibe!

In this class, you'll learn a mix of powerful moves and fresh choreography set to the best Dancehall tracks. This is one of our most popular classes for a reason! You’ll learn two routines during the session—each with a different vibe!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this class offers options to suit all skill levels, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and amazing on the dance floor!

Salsatón - All Levels

For the salsa and reggaetón fans out there, this class is for YOU! Get ready to spice things up with salsatón, the ultimate fusion of salsa and reggaetón popularized by some of today’s top artists from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and more!
This high-energy class is equal parts salsa, reggaetón and a spicy mix of both! We will groove to the smooth, rhythmic movements of street-style salsa and the bold, explosive vibes of reggaetón. This class is all about vibing to these amazing genres of music, learning new technique, and gaining skills for your next fiesta! You’ll learn two routines during the session, each with its own vibe!

This Intermediate-level workshop will bring extra spice with the addition of floor moves and more advanced choreography, with plenty of options so you can do what feels comfortable for you. Get ready to tap into your sexy, glamorous, bombshell YOU!

Wear something comfortable that makes you feel oh-so-fabulous and inspired. Dance heels are a fun option, but barefoot is also perfect. NEW—this workshop will be 120 minutes, with extra time to feel confident and fierce with the routine!​ Minimum two years of dance experience is recommended.
Bad Bunny - All Levels

Fresh off his much-hyped Super Bowl halftime show, this workshop will showcase his unapologetically bold style and genre-blending sound—from reggaetón to urban salsa, Latin trap, dembow, and beyond. Get ready for dynamic choreography that hits all these musical styles set to his biggest tracks!

Reggaetón - Intermediate

Back by popular demand! Get ready to level up your reggaetón flow. From the clubs of Bogotá to the streets of Havana, reggaetón music is the hugely popular, pulsing urban rhythm you hear just about everywhere, from artists like Karol G, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Rauw Alejandro and so many more! This intermediate-level workshop will challenge you with hard-hitting moves, body isolations, and power-packed choreography.
Emilie started the first reggaetón class in Ottawa over 15 years ago, and it’s still one of her favourite styles to teach!

Carnival Vibes - All Levels

Get ready for a journey through the world’s biggest Carnival street festivals in the Caribbean and South America! We’re talking soca from Trinidad and Tobago, dancehall from Jamaica, samba from Brazil, cumbia from Colombia, and SO much more!
This high-energy workshop is a celebration of the infectious rhythms and cultural richness behind Carnival season. Bring your brightest, most colourful outfits to match the vibe—and a flag if you’re repping a country!
