Raffle & After Party
Raffle tickets! On sale before the show and during the warm-up. Remember to bring cash. There is no ATM at GNAG. Raffle tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. A lot of time, effort and resources go into putting these dance shows together and the funds raised by the raffle help to offset some of those costs. Your support will ensure we can continue putting on these shows for the dancers as well as our fans.
After Party at Pints and Quarts (P&Q), located at 779 Bank Street, near Bank and Second Avenue. It’s a 5-minute walk from GNAG. Wear comfortable shoes and expect lots of dancing!

A note from your Dance Show Photographer
Capturing fun and lively images of our dance shows is a huge treat for me! I know many of you look forward to seeing these images after each show. Here’s a few tips to make the most of these photographs:
REHEARSAL - I get some of the best images during the rehearsal because I can move freely around the stage without blocking the audience. So be sure to really perform during the rehearsal as if the audience was already there! And that’s especially true for your facial expressions. What sets a good photograph from a great one is capturing the FEELING. Show your audience how dancing makes you feel - tough, happy, cool. This will come through in the images!
IGNORE ME - Please ignore me as I flit around you clicking away at my camera. I may try to get up nice and close but I promise not to get in your way and keep distractions to a minimum. Always perform for your ‘audience’ or the empty rows of chairs. Don’t feel compelled to look at me.
DON’T IGNORE ME :) - I know I’m contradicting myself here but when it comes to the final group shot, please look at the camera and hold your pose, strong and steady for a good 30 sec count. This will make sure I can get a good clean shot of each performing group.
TAG and SHARE!! - Once Emilie posts the images please share them with your family and friends and tag me! SnapHappy Ottawa or @snaphappy_ottawa. I volunteer my time and talent for the shows and tagging and sharing on social media REALLY helps me grow my business.
